Electrical Installation Service
The Building Regulation (Part P) brought in by the government in 2005 with regards to electrical work undertaken in homes in England and Wales has been thrust upon all electricians whether they like it or not, basically this means that all electrical work now has to be notified to your local council building control and also has to be certified by a qualified electrician registered on a government scheme. All of my work comes with a relevant electrical certificate, if I install a new circuit then a three page electrical installation certificate is issued. If I have added sockets or made any alterations to a circuit then a two page Minor Works certificate is issued, All work is then notified to Benchmark Certification and a building regulations certificate will be sent to you the customer, your local building control will also be notified of work carried out, normally just notifying building control could cost upwards of £400.00 but this is a free service when using a registered electrician like me. All work is tested to ensure that the installation is safe and test results will be included with certificates. I am inspected regularly to make sure my work is always to a high standard and my qualifications, paperwork, insurances and test equipment are up to date.
